Visit the museum of Ålesund's history. The children love it here. We sell coffee and books. See the beautiful villa with a four floors of exhibitions. In the park you find a boathall housing original boats used for fishing 200 years ago, the city's first street, and the barn from 1812 that survived the cityfire! Welcome!

Earlybird-guiding
Use your morning to experience the history of Ålesund, and sit down for a coffee in the beautiful museum after. The tour starts with a great view in the heart of Ålesund. We tell you the history about fishing, URÆD - the «egg» that crossed the Atlantic, the cityfire in 1904 and the town´s most famous resistance fighter during worldwar II. The guiding starts at Rasmus Rønnebergs gate 16, the top of Grimmerhaugen right in the heart of Ålesund. From the museum it´s only minutes to walk to the cruiseport, buses, shoppingmalls and cafés.
We offer the tour every weekday, all year, but not in the weekends.
Price for earlybird-guiding kr. 250,- per person.
